The Ojibwe would harvest wild rice.They had to get into birch bark canoes and they would push off into the water.First the person in the front of the boat would bend the marshes into the boat and they would wack it so that all of the rice would make it into the boat then when they had enough they would head back to shore.

Ducks and Geese
Men would hunt ducks and geese during the fall.
And those who did not help with the harvesting the rice would do something different the children would collect late season berries.Men would hunt ducks and geese.Men woman would fish for the up coming winter.
