Claudius is Hamlets uncle. He is the antagonist in the story. He is also the King of Denmark.

Gertrude

Gertrude is Hamlet's mother. She is the queen of Denmark and is married to Hamlet's Uncle, Claudius.

Horatio

Horatio is one of Hamlet's close friends. They went to college, The University of Wittenburg, together. He is a loyal character to Hamlet throughout the story.

Fortinbras

Fortinbras is the King of Norway. His father was killed by Hamlet's father. King Forinbras wants to attack Denmark to revenge his fathers death.

The Ghost
