Welcome to the Prairie Point Panther Press!
Principal's Letter
Prairie Point Families:
It was another exciting week of learning here at Prairie Point. This week I was able to stop by another kindergarten classroom and read a story about the seashore. It was fun to talk about all of the experiences that our students have had on the beach and on vacation. I am planning on spending the morning in a 4th grade classroom next week. I have taught 4th graders in the past, so it will be fun to jump back into 4th grade!
Our 4th and 5th grade students have completed taking the IAR test and did an awesome job. We are so proud of the attention and perseverance that they are showing during this state testing. Next week our 3rd graders will begin taking the IAR test. I know that they will also do their best!
Oftentimes the spring weather can be unpredictable making it necessary for families to change the plan for dismissal. If you need to make us aware of a change in how your child is going home, please call the office before 11am. At 11am we begin preparing for dismissal, creating the car ride line up and announcing the bus line up. We are unable to answer all phone calls or make changes to our dismissal lists after 11am. Thank you for understanding.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jennifer Groves

COME DRAW WITH ME IN APRIL
April ART is going to be so much fun. From jumping dogs, flying ducks, spectacular scorpions and amazing action words, let's continue to work together to keep the kids connected to ART and to each other, virtually.
Parents, please don't think of this as more remote screen time. The kids who have been drawing me with virtually already know that this is FUN creative time! Through drawing, we wake up our imaginations. We un-mute. We tell stories about our pictures. We meet new ART friends.
To my current ART'mates, THANK YOU for your continued loyalty to me and to ART. I am super excited to draw more amazing pictures with you in April and introduce you to more new ART friends. You can find the direct registration links below.
If your family hasn't drawn with me virtually yet, try one class first. Your child will thank you and I will too. Only $8/class. Siblings (and adults) living in the same household draw with me for free. Choose your preferred day and time below. Zoom link will land in your inbox 30 minutes before drawing time. COME DRAW WITH ME.
Artfully yours,
MRS. G
