Have you ever heard about the Holocaust? The Holocaust was the mass killing of Jews in concentration camps during World War II in Europe.Jews were forced to live in ghettos and picked up and brought by trains to concentration camps. 11 million people were killed (6 million of them were Jews) others were Jehovah`s witnesses, homosexuals, disabled people, Ethnic Poles, and Roma people. The Holocaust has caused a great impact on everyone in Europe.
Many Jews and other victims were forced on trains to be sent to concentration camps to be killed. Jews were sent to concentration camps after being forced to live in ghettos for a short while. At first Jews were forced to wear yellow stars, and were sent to ghettos, but the ghettos started crowding up then Nazi soldiers started transporting the Jews to concentration camps, at the concentration camps many Jews were killed in gas chambers or died of disease, manual labor, and starvation. Many victims of the Holocaust such as Jews, Jehovah`s witnesses, homosexuals, disabled people, Ethnic Poles, and Roma people were killed. About 6 million Jews (about 1 million of them were children) were killed, about 2 million Ethic Poles were killed, 200,000-800,000 Roma/Romani people were killed, 200,000-250,000 disabled people were killed, 22,000-25,000 homosexuals were killed, 950-2,500 Jehovah`s witnesses were killed. During the Holocaust Jews were the targets and so were many other people, and many of them were sent to concentration camps to suffer and die there.

The Holocaust was during World War II when Hitler and the Nazis sent Jews to concentration camps to be killed. Many Jews were sent on trains to concentration camps because many ghettos were getting overcrowded, but since at first the Jews only had to wear yellow stars and had limited rights the Nazis decide to take it step further, also in the concentration camps Jews died in gas chambers, diseases, manual labor, and starvation. In the Holocaust about 11 million people died and those included Jews, Ethnic Poles, Roma people, disables people, homosexuals, and Jehovah`s witnesses. The Holocaust was a time during World War II in Europe when many Jews were killed in concentration camps because of Hitler`s reign and Nazis. Many others also died too.
