We have seen an increase in behavior problems, profanity and hate speech being used by students in the classrooms and hallways. Not only does this behavior interfere with learning and teaching, it makes our school feel unsafe. At Baker Prairie we do not tolerate such behavior and will be disciplining students accordingly. Good discipline and behavior are prerequisite for a successful school. We need your support to reinforce what behavior is appropriate for school and for the positive development of our young people.

Please take the time to review the Student’s Rights & Responsibilities Handbook with your child to better understand our expectations at Baker Prairie. The Handbook is an official document that details the Canby School District’s expectations and guidelines necessary to maintaining a climate of respect and safety in our schools.
