**NEW Threat Management Resources
3 "quick reference" matrix documents were uploaded into the "Additional Resources" folder in Schoology. They are a great reference to print out and share with admin and other people on your Behavioral Threat Assessment Teams. These flow charts help staff make decisions about what to do in cases of threats to self and others.
**NEW The Relatives Matter Conference & Resource Fair offers a day of education to recognize and meet the needs of kinship caregivers and the children in their care. Connect with community services, kinship caregivers and professionals offering legal, financial and healthcare support. All kinship caregivers are welcome. Registration ends 9/13.

Each year there are staff that are no longer associated with your school that need to be deactivated from your account. Please take a moment to review your school users and make users INACTIVE who are no longer in your building.
Assigning Naviance Programs *NEW
As discussed in the summer department chair meeting, your students will have Naviance tasks assigned to them today. Before visiting classrooms, please view your account to ensure students have tasks assigned associated with the Scope and Sequence. Any student who enrolls new to BCPS, will have to have the program assigned to them. If you have any questions, please MaatenRe.
Wells Fargo Resources **NEW
In past we've sent a shipment of Wells Fargo College Planning Guides and Five Step Guides to Financial Aid materials to your school. This year they're no longer printing the planning guides but you should expect a shipment of the financial aid resource within the next month. If you do not receive your shipment, please contact your Specialist.
DECOMMISSIONING OF SILK
The master scheduling process for secondary schools has fully transitioned to the Student Instructional Program & Resource Management Tool (SIPRMT). As of Friday, August 16th school staff no longer have access to SILK. All school staff members with access to SIPRMT have been trained to support their responsibilities in alignment with the School-based Scheduling Team and Timeline document. Please share this information with school staff as appropriate.

High School Co-Enrollment Process
There is new functionality in SIS this year for co-enrollment between zoned schools and Educational Options programs. Below are two resources to support this new feature. The Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) document provides conditions and guidelines for co-enrollment. The accompanying video provides narrated step-by-step directions for the co-enrollment process within SIS. Any questions about co-enrollment can be directed to the Educational Options team.

Post-Secondary Counselors
MCAC update: Morgan State University FEE WAIVER **NEW
The focus of the Maryland College Application Campaign (MCAC) is to provide support to all students; particularly low-income, first-generation, unaccompanied homeless youth, foster care youth, in the juvenile services education system, and student with disabilities. This year, the college-campaign is also focusing on undocumented students. As we collaborate to provide supports to our future graduates, the college campaign is also working diligently to remove barriers as these students pursue their post-secondary education.
To assist the MCAC with removing barriers for schools participating in the MCAC, they are happy to announce that Morgan State University (MSU) has agreed to waive their application fee for one week during the college campaign! The week will be October 7th-11th. The MCAC is schedule to take place September 30-October 31, 2019. For students in participating MCAC schools interested in applying to MSU, please use the code MDFREE20.
