Charles Babbage
Charles Babbage, 6 December 1791 – 18 October 1871) was an English mathematician, philosopher, inventor and mechanical engineer who originated the concept of a programmable computer. Considered a "father of the computer", Babbage is credited with inventing the first mechanical computer that eventually led to more complex designs.
Tim Berners-lee
Sir Timothy John "Tim" Berners-Lee, (born 8 June 1955),also known as "Timbl," is a British computer scientist, best known as the inventor of theWorld wide web. He made a proposal for an information management system in March 1989, and he implemented the first successful communication between a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) client and server via the Internet sometime around mid November.
Sir Clive Sinclair
Sir Clive Marles Sinclair (born 30 July 1940) is an English entrepreneur and inventor, most commonly known for his work in consumer electronics in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
After spending several years as assistant editor of practical wireless and Instrument Practice, Sinclair founded Sinclair Radionics in 1961, where he produced the first slim-line electronic pocket calculator in 1972 (the Sinclair). Sinclair later moved into the production of home computers and produced the Sinclair ZX80.
