Physical/ Integumentary System

  • Skin prevent many harmful particles from entering the body and various organ systems
  • Example: Hair, Nails, and Oil Glands
  • Mucous membranes use chemical walls to prevent some pathogens to enter through the nose and mouth
  • Innate Immune Parts as it filteres everything else out regardless of its actual qualities

Defensive Cells

  • White Blood Cells in the Circulatory systems
  • Proteins used to help stop inflammation and fever
  • Antibodies
  • Other Cells
  • Somewhat adaptive as antibodies adapt overtime to fight diseases

Specific Immune Response

Essentially it is specific responses to areas of the body affected by certain dangerous particles:
  • Thymusre
  • Bone marrow
  • Spleen
  • Tonsils
  • Lymph nodes
  • Lymph
