Dear Elmonics Families,
Changes and Information to Come
In the coming week, we will be creating classes based on the survey information and assigning teachers. We should have information to share with families well before spring break at the end of March. Information about classrooms, schedules, and routines, and procedures will be shared as soon as they are available.
Merlo Station Preschool - Begins in March
Children who are 4 on or after September 1, 2020, may qualify for a NEW online preschool beginning in March. Share this link with any families in the Elmonica and Beaver Acres neighborhoods. This pre-school will also run next school year. Please see the flyer below for more information.
Elmonica In-Person Preschool *Update*
The district was planning to open its own in-person preschool in the fall of 2021. We have fallen a year behind in our planning due to the pandemic. Please look forward to learning more about preschool at Elmonica in 2022.
Headstart is seeking the use Elmonica's space to run an in-person preschool in the fall of 2021. Families are welcome to visit their website for information: https://caowash.org/programs/early-childhood-development/head-start.html
They can also email HeadStart@caowash.org or call (503) 693-3262.
