Trinity Prize for Excellence in Teaching Award

This prize is awarded in the spring to two teachers from among 21 school districts in the San Antonio area. This award is co-sponsored by Trinity University and the HEB Foundation. Criteria for the Trinity Prize for Excellence in Teaching consist of the following categories outstanding classroom performance, leadership in the school, and outstanding community service.


Mr. Clark will be representing Roosevelt High School for the 2022 - 2023 school year. He is an outstanding mentor to his students and peers. He has been a part of the Roosevelt campus for 18 years and is a part of the History department. As an educator, he is driven to grow students in special education with his love of music and Star Wars. Way to go, Mr. Clark!

NEISD November Super Star Student

North East ISD is excited to introduce its first Superintendent “NEISD Super Star of the Month” program. This eight-month program allows every principal to highlight one boy and one girl who are making “super strides” on campus.

Special Olympics Bowling - October 27th

UIW Military Appreciation - October 22nd

The University of Incarnate Word hosts a Military Appreciation Day event at their football game. TR Cadets helped honor our veterans during their beginning ceremonies.

Fall Showcase - October 20th

Don't ever silence your talent. Check out our Roosevelt Theater Company juniors and seniors as they showcase their great skills on stage.

National Merit and College Board National Recognition Program - October 14th

On Friday, October 14, seven TR Cadets were recognized for honors received as part of the National Merit and College Board National Recognition Program. At the Roosevelt v. Brandeis football game Friday evening, the cadets were recognized and presented with a plaque during half-time. The future is looking bright for these hard-working cadets. Congratulations Scholars!

ASVAB Testing - November 2nd

While these tests measure achievement and for college applications, the ASVAB measures knowledge and acquired skills. This helps predict future academic and occupational success and gives students insight into their options and planning their next steps after high school.

FAFSA - November 10th

Filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, which opens Oct. 1, is one of the most important steps students and their families can take to pay for college.


Join us on November 10th to get assistance from college and financial advisors.

NEISD 2022 - 2023 Exam Exceptions

The district has updated the Exam Exemption Guidelines for 2022 - 2023 to include absences and tardies.

  • Absences and tardies for last week and this week (8/10/2022- 8/19/2022) will not go towards exemptions.

  • An extenuating absence due to a positive covid test will not count toward exemptions.

Rough Rider Cafe

Each student at Roosevelt High School will receive one free breakfast and one free lunch in the 2022-2023 school year. Any additional breakfasts or lunches will be charged to the student. Students without adequate funds will not be allowed to purchase extra items or meals.

Reminder- NO Outside Food Deliveries

Students are not allowed to have food deliveries to Roosevelt campus at any time (from Uber Eats, grub hub, restaurants, etc). Thank you for your understanding.
