Field Day!

We had SO much fun today at Field Day! Students were able to get competitive in a variety of outdoor games, indulge on popcorn and snow cones, blow bubbles, and most importantly- share the whole day together! To wrap up the day, we ate lunch in the classroom while watching The Peanuts Movie, then had our Color Run. What a day!

Four imaginative writers had the privilege of sharing their stories with 2nd grade! I am so proud of all their hard work!

Homework

Math: Please make sure your child knows their multiplication facts. Your child can practice with flashcards or by using an app. As we move into division, mastering multiplication up to 12x12 is extremely important for their success in division!

Language Arts: Continue to practice and write spelling words every week. Guided Reading folders will go home each day. Your child should be reading every night so please check that they do!
