Bannes Bulletin

Welcome Back!
I would like to give a warm welcome back to our students and staff. I hope you all had a wonderful winter break. I thank you for your flexibility and partnership as we have almost made it through the first half of the school year. Saying it's been a team effort would be an understatement. I looked forward to working with you for the remainder of the school year and as always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Happy New Year!
I would also like to send a friendly reminder to have your students charge their iPad tonight to prepare for their first day back tomorrow.
Please remind your children about maintaining social distancing, the importance of handwashing, and the importance of wearing their masks correctly. Together, we can make sure our students and staff are as safe as possible. To date, Bannes has done a fantastic job of practicing these three recommendations and as a result, it has kept our positive cases and quarantined students and staff to a minimum. For this, I thank you.
Third Quarter Learning Options
Please note that changes to Third Quarter Learning Options are due by Friday, January 8. If you would like to change your student’s Third Quarter Learning Option, please email me as soon as possible @ Dcallaghan@ksd140.org. The sooner the school I know, the sooner we can schedule your child into their new classroom and assign their teacher. If you are not making a change, you do not need to contact the school.
The third quarter begins on Monday, January 25. All changes must be received by Friday, January 8.
Please see our learning option summary below and feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
