Colts Chronicle

A Cimarron Middle School community communication.

A Note from the Front Office

We have just only two weeks left in this quarter. We cannot believe how fast this first portion of the year has flown by. With the return from Fall break, we will kick off the start to the second quarter. Please be aware that the next Colts Chronicle will not go out until Friday, October 29th.

September has been a great month that has allowed us to partner with families and bring more joy around learning for our students in the community. At Cimarron we are consistently looking at ways we can keep our students safe. Currently we are looking at new trends on social media, specifically through Tic Tok, that have been a challenge. Please be aware of the challenges below, as some of them have severe consequences. If you are allowing your child to use social media, please continue to monitor their accounts and limit the amount of time spent. One recommendation is to charge your child's devices in the parents bedroom or a common place. If you need support, please reach out to the school.

Here is a list of challenges for this year:

September: Vandalize school bathrooms

October: Smack a staff member on their backside

November: Kiss your friend's girlfriend at school

December: Deck the halls and show your b*** (show your private parts)

January: Jab a breast

February: Mess up a school sign

March: Make a mess in the courtyard or cafeteria

April: Grab some eggz (another stealing challenge)

May: Ditch day

June: Flip off in the front office

July: Spray a neighbors fence
