February 2023

Dear Families,

Parent teacher conferences are just around the corner. Please call the main office if you need support scheduling your conference with your student’s teacher. Our teachers are ready to share with you all the great things your student is doing. Also, the book fair is starting this upcoming week, so please stop by the library before or after your student’s conference. Looking forward to seeing you all during conferences.

Sincerely,

Ms. Anabel

ATTENDANCE COMMITTEE

Regular attendance matters! Research shows regular attendance at school has a DRAMATIC impact on student progress. Did you know that after 10 absences we are required to mark all absences unexcused without a doctor’s note? Please see the How Sick Is Too Sick guidelines as well as the BVSD attendance policy. We understand sometimes our students need to be out for an extended period of time. We ask, if you know your child will be out, to please contact the attendance line at 7205617806.

Library fish tank

We are raising money to refurbish the library fish tank with all new fish, new plants and more. If you would like to donate there will be a place to contribute at the book fair or you can contact David david.smith@bvsd.org
