K.I.C.K Club Event

Are you interested in giving a K.I.C.K. to Valentine's Day!? Then K.I.C.K Club has an event for you! Join us after school on Wednesday, February 1st for a Valentine’s Day card-making event. This event is open to everyone and will count as community service hours for Key Club and NHS. The cards will be donated to a local nursing home, soup kitchen, and also to first-responders. We hope to see you for K.I.C.K's card-making event on Wednesday, February 1st after school in Room 16!

FROM THE GUIDANCE OFFICE

1. Attention students: Course selection meetings begin in February. Please begin to think about your classes for next year. Discuss options with your teachers and parents. All students will meet with his/her counselor in February.


2. If you are interested in attending Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center for the FIRST year, you MUST apply on WMCTC's website. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Ebert.


3. Juniors, please reach out to Mrs. Crowell to schedule your junior meeting with your counselor.

SAT DAY

Pottsgrove will be hosting SAT School Day on Wednesday, March 22nd. Students can be registered by making a payment through myschoolbucks.com. The cost is $60.00 (or $8.00 if you qualify for the free and reduced lunch program). The deadline to register is Friday, February 10th.

In addition, Pottsgrove will be offering an SAT Bootcamp in preparation for the test. For more information, click the following link: SAT Bootcamp

GERMAN EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Pottsgrove's German American Partnership Program is excited to announce

our next German exchange!

Our German sister school is visiting Pottsgrove this spring, from March 18th – April 2nd.

We are searching for host families to complete the adventure for these German exchange students!

All interested students are encouraged to apply!


You do not need to speak German, as they are all fluent in English.

Come on out to our informational meeting on Wednesday, January 25th, at 5:30pm in LGI 308!

*You will need to include your height, weight, and gender.

*All orders will be sent to the HS not to your address. They will be distributed by Mrs. Grubbs

*Order received after March 6th will include a $10 late fee.

ATTENTION JUNIORS

Just a reminder from our school nurse that proof of an 11th physical exam is needed for our juniors. The physical exam must be signed by a doctor and dated within one year of entering 11th grade. Anyone not turning in a private physical exam will be scheduled for a physical exam with the school doctor on January 24 or January 31, 2023.

FALCON SHUTTLE - EARLY AFTERNOON ACTIVITY BUS

The early afternoon activity bus will now be picking students up at 3:45 pm, Monday through Thursday. This will be a CMD bus that will pick students up at the HS cafeteria entrance. Students must be there at 3:45 pm as they have other stops throughout the district. Additionally, in order to ride this bus, students MUST have a Falcon Shuttle Pass from the teacher or student activity director that they were with after dismissal time.


The second activity bus for sports activities picks up at the gym entrance at approximately 5:45 pm, Monday through Friday. This bus only runs during the sports season, and when school is in session.

TRANSCRIPTS

All seniors must have a signed transcript release form on file. Please turn the signed form into Mrs. Crowell in the guidance office. In addition, please encourage your student to sign up for the senior meeting by stopping in the guidance office or emailing their counselor directly.
