Crime statistical analyst postions are now available!

Located in Phoenix, Arizona the Maricopa County Attorney's Office is looking for qualified applications.

Minimum requirements

Bachelor's degree in statistics, math, business administration, economics, criminal justice or a closely related field and three years of related experience. Additional education may substitute for the experience requirement on a year to year basis. Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona Driver’s License at time of hire. You will also need to pass random drug tests.

Job Description

Duties include: performing difficult statistical and analytical research involving the use of computer applications, random statistical samplings, correlation and regression analysis, and probability studies; gathering and analyzing crime data for crime pattern detection, suspect-crime correlation's, target-suspect profiles, and crime forecasting; preparing reports on crime data and trends for police personnel; making presentations to police personnel, members of the community, and outside agencies. This class performs related work as required. The Analyst also serves as a tool to assist the Town in monitoring crime and potential crime prevention.
