The idea started in the 1860s. It officially started in 1874 and ended in 1892. A group based in Paris called Anonymous Society of Painters, Sculptors, Printmakers, etc. It was created because artists wanted to free themselves from the rules. The group got rejected but the imporor let the people judge. The people still ca e to see it. They loosened their brushstrokes and lightened the colors of their palettes to include pure and intense colors.

I like the color choice. They are blended well and the colors look good next to each other. The brushstrokes are cool and they look like the sunrise. The sky looks really cool and the colors make it look similar to a real sky. The colors are relaxing cool colors.
