What Meteors Are Made Of
Meteors are made of some hard rocky material. They are sometimes metallic if it has iron in it. Meteors can also be made of iron, or stone with iron.
Most of the time, pieces fall to the ground. When it's in space, it's call a meteoroid. When it enters Earth's atmosphere, it's called a meteor and when it hits earth, it's called a meteorite.
