MUSTANG SPOTLIGHT - MR. NICK KELLY, 2ND SHIFT CUSTODIAN AT STRONGSVILLE MIDDLE SCHOOL
Mr. Nick Kelly is part of the Strongsville Middle School team that keeps a clean and safe environment for our students, staff, and community. Mr. Kelly is a 2nd shift custodian who has been with our District for over five years. He started as a part time employee at Strongsville High School and Drake Elementary, and became full time at Albion Middle School after just a few short months. Mr. Kelly has experience in the construction industry, working as a concrete foreman and heavy machine operator for a local home builder prior to coming to our District. He is a proud graduate of Midpark High School and Polaris Career Center, where he studied construction trades.
“I am really proud of the team I work with at Strongsville Middle School. It takes everyone working together to accomplish what we do every day. I take great pride in what I can do to help our students and staff. If I can do one thing to make their day better, that is what makes it all worthwhile,” said Mr. Kelly.
“Working the shift I do, I am also able to interact with our community, because many groups are utilizing Strongsville Middle School as a place for their events and meetings. The biggest compliment, and one that makes me really proud, is when people comment that they can’t believe that our building is almost three years old. Our entire team takes great pride in making sure that we do everything possible for the continued upkeep and maintenance on the building.”
Thank you Mr. Kelly for being part of a fantastic team at Strongsville Middle School that takes great care of not only the building, but also our students, staff, and visitors from the community! #WeAreStrongsville
