Dear Families-Read on for the News

No School Friday 4/8 and Monday 4/11

April 8 and 11 are professional development and a teacher workday for PPCS. Moscow School District is in session on April 11, so you will see buses running. We'll be back in session on Tuesday, April 12.

PPCS Development Committee Needs Help

Our school board’s Development Committee has been hard at work fundraising for our school, and are working on launching our annual appeal as the year draws to a close. We are very excited about the opportunity that this year’s annual appeal provides, but to get it off the ground we need someone with videography and editing skills and equipment to volunteer their time, work with some amazing kiddos, and contribute to the success of our fine school. Specifically we need help with filming and editing some student interviews. If you have the equipment and skills, and some free time in the next month, please reach out to our development committee at development@palouseprairieschool.org

Seeking Motivated Parents to Lead Our Parent Crew!

Our current Parent Crew leaders are stepping down next year, so we're looking for one or two folks who are interested in leading the events that bring our parents and school together.

There are two parts to the role.

1. To inspire other PPCS parents to get involved in our school's events!

2. To coordinate and lead those events.

Some of the events that Parent Crew typically leads are:

  • Back to School Picnic
  • Walk to School Days
  • Teacher Appreciation
  • Book Sales
  • Run the Palouse
  • Middle School Dance
  • CREW social events

Being a Parent Crew leader allows you to play an important and practical role at our school, one where you'll have the opportunity to create events for our kids and our community, and help the teachers and staff. If this sounds like something you are interested in, please contact ppcsparentcrew@gmail.com

Run the Palouse

It's time to start preparing for Run the Palouse, the event that raises money for our fabulous Adventure program! Parent Crew is looking for folks who can:

  • contact local businesses and ask for sponsorship
  • design this year's logo
  • order race shirts
  • photocopy forms and stuff envelopes
  • make online sign-ups for day-of-race tasks
  • just generally help where needed!

Please contact ppcsparentcrew@gmail.com to offer your help. Thanks!

Share your Photos for the Yearbook!

If your child did not get a school photo taken at Palouse Prairie or if you have photos of any fieldwork, adventure, or class activities that you would like to share, please contact the office or click this link to upload them.

Yearbooks are available to purchase at this website.
