KINDERGARTEN
Mrs. Campi - Carlee Reid Clineff
Carlee is our BRIGHT student this month! Carlee is enthusiatic about learning and loves to participate. She always has a smile on her face. Carlee works very hard to get her assignments in on time and enjoys attending PALCS field trips. Thank you for working so hard, Carlee! You truly are a shining star!
Mrs. Ramsey - Jackson Mundorff
Jackson is our BRIGHT student this month! He is always trying his best with schoolwork and works hard. Jackson puts forth the best effort to make it to every virtual lesson and is an active participant while in attendance. Jackson is a great student to have in class, keep up the great work!
FIRST GRADE
Mrs. Barch - Shaylee Grill
Shaylee is our BRIGHT student this month! Shaylee takes her time when completing assignments. Her work is neat and detailed. Her illustrations are beautiful! Shaylee attends all virtual lessons on a weekly basis. She is an active participant in our discussions! Thank you for being such a wonderful student, Shaylee! You always make me smile! I’m so happy to have you in my class this year!
Mrs. Specht - Avery Hererra
Avery is this month's BRIGHT student! Avery is a creative first grader with excellent ideas! He always completes work on time and does his best. Avery has a great attitude and loves to learn. He never misses virtual lessons and gladly partipates too! Avery is an awesome first grader!
Mrs. Knox - Jacob Cassidy
Jacob is our BRIGHT student for this month. Jacob is a hard worker who takes pride in his personal achievements. He is eager to share and participate in our virtual lessons and does a great job at following directions. Thank you Jacob for always putting forth your best effort! You are a shining star!
SECOND GRADE
Ms. Donegan - Joe Chesnutt
Joe is this month's BRIGHT student. Joe is a wonderful student who always greets me in virtual lessons with a hello and a smile. He is a great participant in each lesson he attends. He always submits his very best work in each of his courses. Joe is a pleasure to have in my class. Keep up the great work, Joe!
Ms. Harris - Mykala Kriley
Mykala is our BRIGHT student for this month. Myki does a fantastic job keeping up with her coursework and making sure to submit her very best work. She attends all of her virtual lessons and always participates in each activity. Myki has worked so hard to improve her reading skills. Mrs. Williams and I are so proud of her! Way to go, Myki!
Mrs. Victorious - Emaleigh Mellon
Emaleigh is our BRIGHT student for the month of February. Emaleigh has made wonderful progress with her reading and I'm very proud of her. She tries her best when it comes to assignments and is an active participant in lessons. So glad to have you in my class this year, Emaleigh. You are doing well!
THIRD GRADE
Mrs. Ault - Anthony Williams
Anthony is our BRIGHT student for the month of February! Anthony always attends his virtual lessons and always participates. He loves to use his microphone and type in the chat box. He also encourages his classmates. Anthony's work is always turned in on time and asks questions when he needs something clarified. Anthony is a pleasure to have in class. Keep up the great work!
Ms. Chickerino - Ryan Layton
Ryan is our BRIGHT student for the month of February! Ryan always attends our virtual lessons on time and participates with our discussions. Her work is consistely well done and detail oriented. It is easy to see that she always takes her time and only submits her very best work. Ryan also attends some of our Book Buddies and Got Science live events. She is a very polite and kind girl and is an absolute pleasure to have in class. Keep up the awesome work Ryan!
Mrs. Martino - Faith Richey
Faith is our BRIGHT student for January. Faith attends her virtual lesson weekly and is a great participator! She always has a smile on her face, and I am glad to have her in my class! Faith tries her best in her lessons, and all her hard work shows in her excellent grades. Faith, you should be proud of all you've accomplished so far this year! Keep up the great work!
FOURTH GRADE
Mr. Cooper - Becca VanKeuren
Becca is our BRIGHT student for the month of February! Becca
is a fantastic student who is always trying to be involved both in virtual chat
and through events at PALCS! She just loves to share her thoughts and opinions,
while being as creative as possible when she has the opportunity. I look
forward to seeing Becca at all of our PALCS events because I know she will be
eager to volunteer and she will bring a great positive attitude to our activities.
Becca is a model student and is a blast to have in my classroom! Keep being

Mrs. Modge - Sophia Zalipsky
Sophia Z is our BRIGHT student for the month of February! Sophia is a new student at PALCS and has caught on so quickly! Sophia always come to chat early with a smiling face! She is also an active participant and a great role model for her classmates. I am impressed with Sophia's vast knowledge and experience with the subjects. Keep up the great work, Sophia! Awesome job :)
Mr. Packer - Pepa Baldino
Pepa is our BRIGHT student this month! Pepa recently reenrolled at PALCS and has since flourished in my class. Pepa does has some great qualities that make her a fantastic student to have in my class. She attends all virtual lessons and is always on time. She works hard to understand topics that may be difficult for her, and when a topic is too difficult, she asks for help and attends virtual lesson help. She really has done a tremendous job in her short time back. Keep up the hard work, Pepa!
FIFTH GRADE
Mr. Clausen - Aaron & Christopher Estorel
This month I nominate both Aaron and Christopher Estorel as my BRIGHT students for the month of February. It is hard to separate these two. They come to all Virtual Chats and Lesson Help together and even play together on the same undefeated hockey team! They are hard workers and straight "A" students. It is a pleasure to have them in my class.
Ms. Owens - Caleb Kelly
Caleb is the BRIGHT student for the month of February! Caleb is a dedicated learner who not only does everything with excellence, but also with consideration for others. He is responsible to seek an explanation when his thoughts differ with a "correct" answer, and thoroughly explains his reasoning while maintaining respect. His communication in class and through messaging is always thoughtful, respectful, and considerate. Caleb goes above and beyond requirements to meet a standard of excellence beyond his years. Caleb, you inspire daily. Thank you for shining so brightly!
Mr. Van Etten - McKenna Bancroft
McKenna is the BRIGHT student for February! McKenna works diligently on all of her assignments. She has really shown improvement as a writer. She attends chats with a smile on her face and loves participating in our spelling games! I have really enjoyed working with McKenna this year. Great job!
Mr. Wein's Class - Aaliayh Allen
Aaliyah is the BRIGHT student for February! Aaliyah is an extremely hard working student, who is up every day at 6am making sure all her lessons are in for the day. She is a very engaged student in our virtual lessons (which she is always on time for!) and I am very excited to see Aaliyah's progress this year.
