UHMS Weekly Principal's Update
April 6, 2020
School Closure Extended
In the meantime, please see the document linked below for information on what missing assignments students can complete now to bring up their Quarter 3 grades. Quarter 3 grades are due the week of April 17th, so please make sure to note any timelines included in the document from specific teachers. If you have questions about assignments from a particular teacher, please feel free to contact them via email.
Finally, if your student does not have a device for some reason, please follow the instructions in the email from RUSD last week for device pick up at high school locations this week.
As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to administration or your student's counselor with any questions or concerns.

Letter from the Counselors
We hope that this email finds you safe and healthy. We are reaching out to you to let you know that we miss you all and that we are here for you. We understand that the school closures are causing many students to worry over coursework, grades, school activities and end of year events, among other things. As your school counselors, we are here to help.
As counselors, we continue to be your resource in assisting with questions you may have, no matter how big or small. Our school counseling team has worked to establish communication options where students can reach out to their school counselor regarding academic, career, personal, or social issues. Know that we continue to explore ways we can maintain contact with you.
In the meantime, you can reach your school counselor via email and your counselor will respond within 48 hours, excluding weekends.
