CLASS OF 2021
Update 1
A Message from Principal Callaghan
Dear Students & Families,
Happy Spring! This is an exciting time with senior activities and graduation just around the corner. We, too, are thrilled your son/daughter is near the completion of many years of schooling. This momentous occasion must be matched with a high degree of maturity, dignity, and respect on the part of all students. Our students represent an enormous source of pride to our school community, and we want everyone to finish the year on a positive and healthy note.
Towards that end, please be mindful of the following:
Behavior Expectations: We caution seniors to be careful about risking failure and jeopardizing graduation requirements; sadly, we have had individuals who do not graduate with their class as a result of making irresponsible choices in the last few weeks of the school year.
Final Grades: At the close of each year, senior's final grades are forwarded to colleges. If a student’s grades fail to reflect the achievement used for acceptance the college may rescind its offer of admittance.
Senior Obligations: Please be aware that any senior who has not taken care of their outstanding obligations, such as library fines, unreturned books/textbooks, unpaid debts, activity fee payment, or any other obligation that is due will not receive their cap and gown until they have done so.
Attire & Conduct: Everyone in our school community must be aware of our clear expectations of our seniors to dress properly and behave appropriately during all of our events. Students should be dressed semi-formally for all senior events. Alcohol, drugs, and irresponsible behavior have no place in any senior activity. There is nothing that could ruin our graduation more than an embarrassing incident or a serious accident. Students who engage in inappropriate behavior, such as pranks or vandalism will face disciplinary consequences and may not participate in senior activities, including Graduation.
Sincerely,
Mr. Brian Callaghan
