Digital Quality Assurance Advisor
Steve Wheeler has accepted an invitation by Huw Lewis (Minister for Education and Skills for Wales) to join the newly established Welsh education Advisory Group on Digital Quality Assurance. Steve will advise the Welsh Government on the way schools implement digital technology and will help to ensure that teachers develop digital competencies to promote more effective pedagogy. The Advisory Group will ensure that the design and development process draws on international best practice and leading edge thinking in digital competence. Steve said: āIām honoured by this invitation from the Welsh government, and I look forward to working together with the Minister and his team to develop more effective technology supported teaching in schools.ā
