Helen Hunt Jackson stretched the truth of how the federal government's mistreated the Native Americans in Southern California after the Mexican-American War and she also attracted alot of attention to her cause.
Morrill Act
Allowed land granted colleges and established agricultural colleges. Allowed them to establish new colleges on the environment and how to farm and how we can use the agriculture on the earth.
Dawes Act
The Dawes act allowed the President of the U.S to survey American Indian tribes land and divide it into allotments for individual Indian. Those who accepted allotments and lived separately from there tribe would be granted U.S citizenship.
Chief Joseph
Chief Joseph fought to receive his land back when the U.S took and forced them of of there ancestry land. He took his army against the power of the American army, to try to take back his land.
