Barnes & Noble

Book your summer with Barnes & Noble. Read any eight books and record them on a Summer Reading Journal (English or Spanish). Then bring the completed journal to a B&N store during August to choose a free book! Click here to view additional information

Scholastic Home Base

From May 4 through September 7th, kids can visit the summer zone in Scholastic Home Base, a complete free digital destination which offers stories, characters, games, and a community of readers.

Whether you want to be on the Evansdale Reading Bowl Team or find a great book for summer reading, the Georgia Book Award list is for you! These book are also used for the DeKalb County School District's Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl. You will find the elementary, middle school and high school lists with summaries of each book.
