Dear Central Road Families:

February is officially here! We often like to believe this will be our last winter month. We are keeping our fingers crossed that this will be case. In the meantime, we will continue to enjoy the sunny, snowy winter days! We also place an extra focus on kindness this month at Central Road. We will be hosting Valentine's Day classroom parties from 2:45 to 3:45 pm on Tuesday, Feb. 14th. We thank our parent volunteers for supporting our parties. There will be no food served at the parties. Students are welcome to bring a Valentine's Day card (NO candy please) for each classmate/student in his/her classrooms to show their care and appreciation. We hope the day is filled with lots of fun and kindness!

We will be holding a Kindness Week during the week of February 13th-17th. HERE is our plan. We look forward to this week of fun and care!

We are excited to share that our PTA is sponsoring an assembly for our students on February 6th. Prismatic Magic will be on site in the afternoon to entertain our students. If for some reason your child is not able to participate, please contact Mrs. Shostachuk directly by February 2nd. Thank You

Students will participate in our 2nd trimester Wolfie Shop on Feb. 23rd and/or Feb. 24th. Keep earning those CBGs by showing respect, responsibility, and safety at school. The more you earn, the more you can buy at our Wolfie Shop.

Our next PBIS Celebration will be an indoor picnic during the lunch hour. Students will earn this celebration by following our 3 expectations regularly and consistently. Our indoor picnic will take place on February 24th. Students are welcome to bring a towel or blanket to sit on and share with a friend. There is nothing better than pretending the summer weather is here with us indoors during a winter picnic!

Kindness Crew is collecting donations to create care packages for people who are homeless. We are looking for NEW toiletries such as shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, tooth paste, socks, etc. If you have any donations, please bring them to school and place them in the box outside of Mrs. Fior's room (205) by February 6th. Thank you for helping us spread kindness!

Please kindly report any illnesses like strep, flu, pink eye, rsv, and/or covid to the Nurse's Office when confirmed by a doctor. Thank you for keeping your child(ren) at home when not feeling well.
