4-H TIPS NEWSLETTER
Favorite Foods Revue & Favorite Foods Revue with Dairy Theme Thursday, July 11, 6:30 p.m. at the Fair Center in Syracuse!
The Favorite Foods Revue (FFR) combines food preparation, menu planning, and table setting skills. 4-H members participating in the FFR need to plan a menu suitable for an indoor or outdoor meal. One food prepared by the 4-H member should be brought to the Revue with the selected table service, centerpiece, menu card, recipe card, and card table/picnic blanket. 4-H members enrolled in any 4-H Foods projects are eligible to participate.
The FFR is divided into three age divisions: 1) Clover Kids; 2) Juniors - those
11 and under as of January 1, 2019, and 3) Seniors - 4-H members 12 and older.
The FFR with Dairy Theme is similar, but the food product has to be made using
dairy, you need a team of two, and you must use technology. See the enclosed flyer
for more info - back side. This contest is for 4-H members 10 and older.
The FFR and the FFR with Dairy Theme will be Thursday, July 11, 6:30 p.m. at the Fair Center in Syracuse. Pre-register by contacting the Extension Office at 402-269-2301. Pre-registration is due Wednesday,
July 10th .
Please note the Junior Division 4-H Life Challenge Contest and the FFR/FFR with Dairy Theme will run simultaneously, so everyone can participate in both contests!
