2022 4honline Enrollment
Returning families - please do not create a new account - use your log-in credentials for 4honline from previous years. Instructions for returning families are at this link. Enrollment instructions for new families can be found here. Dodge County enrollment fee is $10.00 per youth member and can be paid by credit card online, or by cash or check in our office. (We have had recent issues with credit card payments - please contact our office if you have trouble paying by credit card)
All Dodge County Volunteers are required to complete DHHS screening this year, regardless of the last time you were screened. Screening through DHHS costs $5.00. 4honline will guide you through the screening steps as you finish volunteer enrollment. New volunteers can find instructions here, and returning volunteers can follow this guide. Please complete the screening as soon as possible!

4-H Volunteer Recognition Nominations
The Nebraska 4-H Volunteer Recognition Awards honors adult and youth volunteers, as well as and multi-generational families, who have provided meaningful contributions to Nebraska 4-H. One Outstanding Adult Volunteer Award and One Emerging Adult Volunteer Award winner will be chosen for each of the state’s 11 Nebraska Extension Engagement zones. One statewide winner will be named in the each of the youth volunteer and multi-generational family categories.
The nomination period runs through March 15. Nominations can be submitted by any 4-H member, family, supporter, or Extension staff member. Nominees must fit the award categories and can be a volunteer for any Nebraska 4-H experience. Some examples may include 4-H club leader, project leader, junior leader, county or State Fair volunteer, special interest volunteer, such as robotics or shooting sports, afterschool club volunteer or 4-H camp volunteer. Dodge County 4-H Month Special Project
Nebraska 4-H Livestock Achievement Program
The program recognizes Members of Excellence across all 4-H livestock project areas, including beef, sheep, meat goat, swine, dairy cattle, dairy goat, rabbit, and poultry.
The program consists of two levels that require 4-H members to plan and report a broad range of age-appropriate and project-related accomplishments.
At the beginning of the 4-H year, youth must apply to participate in the program. Upon acceptance into the program, participants plan what to accomplish. At the end of the 4-H year, they report on their completed accomplishments. Learn more and apply at:

Nebraska Extension will execute this evolving, innovative, and in-depth program in 2022, which will be the eleventh year creating agricultural, science-informed graduates in the agricultural industry.
Prizes for participation in this project include 1st place - $1,000, 2nd place - $500, 3rd place -$250, “Extra Mile” Award $200, CORN Communications Award $200 and $50 for completion of the project. In addition, each team receives a crop scouting kit valued at over $200, plot sign and the opportunity to engage with UNL agronomic professionals through “ask an agronomist” sessions.

- Another livestock show will be occurring during the same dates as the 2022 Fonner Park State 4-H Horse Expo, 4-H families are highly encouraged to book hotel rooms and reserve camper/RV hookups as early as possible. Camper/RV hookups will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis, and reservations can be made by contacting Kathy at 308-382-4515.

Practice Horse Judging
Register for this course and you will have access to 6 classes to judge, along with the official placings and an official critique, to learn why the classes were placed the way they were. Check out these 2 short courses on Horse Health and Horse Nutrition from Extension Foundation. They are available until May 15.
