5/16: Rowan Planetarium Field Trip
PARCC
PARCC will begin on Monday 5/2 and continue until Wednesday 5/11. There will be four days of Language Arts and four days of Math. Please make sure that your child gets a good night of rest and eats a healthy breakfast. We have discussed how this shouldn't be a stressful time, but that students should simply try their best.
Chaperones Wanted!
Looking ahead, 3K students will be attending 3 field trips in May and June. Two of these field trips are walking field trips which will help to enrich our studies of Haddonfield. Our class would love parent volunteers to join us as chaperones.
We will be visiting Greenfield Hall on the afternoon of Thursday May 11th and Indian King Tavern on the morning of Thursday June 9th. If you would like to volunteer to chaperone, please follow this link:
Open House
Thank you for attending Open House! The students loved to show off all of the work that they've been doing this year, and they were so excited to explain all of their learning. They also said how great it was to visit the other classrooms and to visit 4th grade to see what next year has in store!
I Can Solve Third Grade Problems!
This week, students began working in a new "I Can" Book. The book includes all of the standards that students have learned this year in 3rd grade. Students will be showcasing their knowledge by demonstrating how they solve each of these problems on their Seesaw account. Keep checking Seesaw to see how our mathematicians are growing into confident and independent learners! Here is an example below of what you can look forward to expecting.
