I am very blessed to be a Hometown girl and Battlin' Badger class of '02. After graduation, I attended TCU in Fort Worth, Texas where the opportunities I faced brought a multitude of life changes. I worked as an equipment manager for the TCU Football team, pledged ZTA, and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and a business minor. The big city life wasn't in the cards, so I decided to work with Texas Teachers and obtained my alternative certification in the summer of 2007. I was fortunate enough to get a job working at Lampasas Middle School in the Special Education Program and coaching 7th & 8th grade girls sports in the Fall of '07 and have felt at HOME ever since. I have worked in the special education program, taught 7th & 8th grade Reading, and now I am currently the instructional specialist on the LMS campus. My dream career began 16 years ago, and I continue to be amazed at the possibilities that Lampasas ISD has to offer.
