For the Love of Field Day! Order your Field Day shirt now!
We are so excited to be planning for our all-out Field Day this year. Field Day will happen on Monday, May 23. More information will be coming out regarding the events of the day but be sure to order your field day shirts as soon as possible. Each grade level has been assigned a color shirt and when you go to https://spiritworx.com/store/12864/, simply select your child's grade level and homeroom teacher and it will automatically select the correct color shirt. Parents can order shirts as well! Parent shirts will be charcoal grey. Shirts are $10 for YS-AXL sizes. 2XL will be an additional $2.00 and 3XL are an additional $3.00. Shirts will be delivered to school and sent home with students the week before Field Day.
The store opens on Monday, March 28 and closes on April 27. Once the store is closed we cannot order additional shirts.
All funds raised from the sale of these shirts will pay for the inflatables we have rented for our Field Day. We need to sell around 450 shirts to meet our goal!

Bring Your Parent to PE Week!
We are excited to be able to host our Bring Your Parent to PE Week from May 2-5. Please read over the information below and mark your calendars. Sign ups will begin on April 15. Due to space limitations it is a first-come, first-served sign up. We will email a link for sign up on April 15 so keep an eye out for an email from Coach Breckley.
The Impossible Shot
Ask your kiddo about our Impossible Shot game. Every day we pick a student from each class who was an absolute rock star that day from the moment they walked into the gym. That student gets the opportunity to attempt the Impossible Shot. We video tape each attempt so that we can be sure to get it on film if someone makes it. Anyone who makes it will receive a certificate and have their picture put on the Wall of Fame, becoming a Cox Elementary legend for years to come.

Kids Heart Challenge
Thank you so much to everyone who participated in this year's American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge! We were absolutely blown-away by the results. We set our initial goal at $3,000 and blew right past that the first week. Once all donations were added up, Cox Elementary students raised $12,935.83. We were excited to be able to give out all remaining prizes this week in PE.
This week we also celebrated 2nd grader, Oliver, who was our top Cox Elementary fundraiser. Way to go Oliver!!
