LEE v. WEISMAN 1992

Unconstitutional for a school district to provide any religions group to perform prayer at elementary or secondary school graduation. Court majority was particularly concerned about having prayers violate beliefs recited at their graduation ceremonies.

EDWARDS v. AGUILLARD 1986

Says that public school can not teach "creation science" to the students who attend there. This does allow evolution to still be taught.

Abington School District v. Schempp 1962

Court finds Bible reading over school intercom unconstitutional. Court also finds forcing a child to participate in Bible reading and prayer unconstitutional.
