National Ride your bike to school day is a go for this year!!! I want to encourage all students to ride their bike or anything human powered with wheels (scooter, skateboard, rollerblades, etc.) on Wednesday, May 5. If you live a good distance from school and don’t want your student going that far on a bike I would then encourage you to drop your student off at Courts Plus, across the street and have them ride over crossing at the crosswalk. Any student who comes on human powered wheels next Wednesday will get a prize, thanks to the PTA.
I look forward to seeing students coming to school being active, having fun, and filling our bike rack and receiving bay full of bikes. Don't forget your mask!

If you do not know which school your child will attend, call 701.446.1043 or check online at www.fargo.k12.nd.us/boundarymaps. If you need PowerSchool help, please call 701.446.1030.
GRADE 5 Students Only- moving to Middle School Music
The Discovery Middle School webpage has all the information regarding middle school music classes, registration, contact information, and more. Please use the webpage as a reference:

School Boundary Changes
The Fargo School Board has approved changes to school boundaries that will affect middle and high school students starting in the fall of 2021 and the fall of 2022. Information can be found here:
https://www.fargo.k12.nd.us/BoundaryMaps
You will be able to look up your address as well as check to see what the implementation plan is for each boundary change. There are PDF's of the boundary maps for each school year.
Please note: there are no boundary changes for elementary school attendance boundaries.
Currently the address look up feature is a bit confusing for Eagles students due to being split when they go to middle school. In fall of 2022 Eagles will not longer be a split school and all Eagles students will attend Discovery Middle School. If you have any questions about a particular address, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the FPS District Office at 701-446-1000. Thank you!

Here are more ways YOU can help:
Volunteer! PTA is looking for a treasurer and secretary for the upcoming school year. The time commitment for each is minimal. Please contact Brittaney Vanderhagen if you are interested.
Sign up for your 2021-22 membership. Cost is $10 for one individual, $15 for two. The form is available a https://sites.google.com/site/fpsptaeagles/ or contact Kim Williams.
Purchase a Skate Card. Through May 31, Skate City is selling Summer Skate Cards for $6. The card grants you $1 admission to skating sessions all summer long, and a portion of each sale comes back to Eagles PTA. Purchase them online at www.skatecitynd.com. For more information, call 701-235-0555.
Download the BoxTop app. It’s the easy way to digitally “snip” BoxTops and raise funds for Eagles. All you need to do is scan your receipts.
Choose Eagles PTA as your Amazon Smile charity. You can also change the settings on your phone’s Amazon app so each purchase supports the school.
Attend the May 10 PTA Meeting. Zoom meeting starts at 6:30 pm. This will be the final meeting of the school year.
Have a great summer, and get ready for more PTA fun this fall!
