Things to do and Rules of Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park (Rules)

Yosemite National Park is packed full of adventurous things to do, but there are some things that you can't do. We would like to tell you the rules of Yosemite National Park before you come so that you know them when you get here.

1. No feeding the wildlife without permission. This means do not approach the wildlife with any food even if you know it's okay. If you want to feed the wildlife, you must be with either your tour guide, or a park ranger.

2. Throw away your trash. Animals can and will eat your trash if you do not throw it away. Trash can be harmful to animals, so we would appreciate if you would hold on to your trash until you have reached a trash bin.

3. You are NOT allowed to leave a trash can or waste basket outside. Bears often come towards houses and will find themselves at home if you leave all your trash lying around.

Yosemite National Park (Things to Do)

There are a number of things in Yosemite, but I won't name them all. In the summer you can do all kinds of water events, go hiking, white water rafting, horseback riding, ATV and four-wheeler riding, fly fishing, and many other things. In the winter you can hike the snow covered mountains, downhill ski, cross country skiing, and various other things. Cabins are available all throughout the year, you just have to beat people to them!
