COVID-19: In-School Testing/Protocols for Students/Health and Safety Information
APS has moved to a 5-day isolation period for students who test positive for COVID-19. Previously, isolation for students was for a period of 10 days. This change aligns with the recommendations of the CDC and the Virginia Department of Health. Students may return to in-person instruction on day six, if on day five the student has no symptoms (or symptoms are improving), AND has been fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication, AND is able to wear a well-fitting mask for days 6-10.
