Vision to Learn: Day 1 is complete

Ernie Pyle students will have the special opportunity to be a part of the Vision to Learn Program. For the next few weeks, the 124 students who did not pass the vision screening will meet with Vision to Learn to complete the vision test with the doctor and pick out glasses if they are needed. We are so grateful to this program for providing us with free glasses for those students who need them.

Donations from our Generous Panther Families

We have a few programs going on right now where students have been asked to bring in donations.

First, our PTA is now accepting candy donations for our Pumpkin Path Event that will be taking place on campus the evening of October 20. If you would like to send in any candy donations please have your student give it to the teacher and we will give it to the PTA.

Next, the Panther Pride Club is collecting canned goods for families in need. If you would like to donate any canned goods please have your student take the cans to class and the Panther Pride Club will collect these from the classrooms.

Lastly, the PTA has arranged for us to help out a local charity as part of our Red Ribbon Week activities. A flyer will be sent home with the specific items needed and dates to send them in so that the PTA can create the care packages for the local charity.

Thank you for your generosity and for sharing with others.
