Our first Stanford exchange to Japan!

Farewell Rikuzentakata
This September, VIA Social Innovation Programs held its first exchange of Stanford students to Tokyo and Tohoku in conjunction with Keio and Rikkyo Universities and with the support of the Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership. In addition to visiting social enterprises in Tokyo, the team also worked on a weeklong project in the town of Rikuzentakata to support the city's recovery efforts from the earthquake and tsunami in March 2011.
