Barnes & Noble Night!


Hello Yeager Parents and Guardians!


It's that time of year again for our annual Yeager Elementary Barnes & Noble Book Fair (Champions Village 5303 FM 1960 West) on Tuesday, December 11 from 4:30 - 8:30 PM. But it's not JUST a book fair. You'll also be able to hear our 5th grade Honor Choir perform, participate in the Santa Photo Booth, create crafts, play games, hear Story Time with Yeager Staff and browse the Yeager Art Gallery! With all these FUN activities, we'll need a few volunteers. Here's where YOU come in!


I've created 4 one hour shifts but please sign up for more than one shift if your schedule permits! Bring your kids, family, neighbors, friends and don't forget to mention YEAGER ELEMENTARY when you check out!

Cookie Tins Time

This is an annual Yeager tradition each December. Parent volunteers provide home baked goodies for every Yeager teacher, staff, and bus driver. It's a fun way to spread holiday cheer.

This huge task cannot be achieved without your help! Please click on the link below to sign up to provide cookie tins filled with your favorite holiday treat.

We will collect the tins the morning of December 13th and 14th. You can send the cookie tins on the bus with your student or bring them with you in the car rider line. We will have volunteers present to collect the tins. You can also drop them off at the front desk.

Lost and Found Items

Our lost and found cabinet is overflowing! Please be sure to check the lost and found cabinet before the holiday break if your child has misplaced an item. We will have the items out in the library area during the holiday party. Any unclaimed items will be donated during the break.

What a SUCCESSFUL Donation Drive!

Operation Military Embrace donation drive was a success!! 5th Grade Student Leadership’s *Community Service* Team is thankful to Yeager families for their generous contributions. Your donations will go into care packages for our service men & women overseas, in time for the holidays!


Our next campaign is a Holiday Toy Drive in December.

Front Desk Procedures

Please note:


  • Always be prepared to present your picture ID when visiting Yeager for any reason.
  • When at the front door please remember to: 1) Ring the door bell 2) Look at the camera and listen for the receptionist 3) State the purpose of your visit 4) Wait to be buzzed in.
  • We ask that lunch drop offs should only be for forgotten lunch boxes only and students have a lunch visitor no more than one day per week (any day).
  • Items forgotten at home (homework, books, folders etc) delivered to the front office will be placed in teacher's box.
  • The car line starts at 8:25 a.m. For your child's safety, do not drop-off before this time or anywhere other than the car line.
  • Announcements begin at 8:40am, and instruction begins at 8:45 a.m. If your child arrives after 8:45 a.m., please walk in with your child and sign them in.
  • Tutoring (by invitation) is on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Students are asked to remain in the car until 7:50 a.m. when a staff member arrives at the flag pole to supervise. Students arriving after 8 a.m. must wait in the car rider until 8:25 a.m.

As a parent of a student at a campus receiving Title I funds, federal law allows you to ask for information about the certification, college major, and advanced degrees of your child’s teacher(s). You also have the right to request information about the qualifications of a teacher aide or paraprofessional providing direct services to your child. If you would like to receive this information, you may contact the Cypress-Fairbanks I.S.D. Human Resources Department at 281-897-4099.
