The Padilla Post 10/10/2022

October 10, 2022

Providing every student with the keys to open the doors of their future.

A Message from Principal Purfurst

I wanted to take a moment to share with you that the Colorado Department of Education recently released School Performance Frameworks. SPFs are the way that the State of Colorado evaluates schools. I am proud to share with you that Padilla Elementary School earned a "Performance" or "Green" rating on our SPF! This is the highest rating available to schools in Colorado! We are so proud of the hard work of our students and staff to help us achieve this rating! You can see Padilla's SPF below and find the ratings of all schools on the CDE website here.
Big picture
Another important metric that we use to measure our performance at Padilla, but that is not reflected on our Colorado Department of Education SPF, is through our Parent/Family Survey. Given twice a year, this important survey helps us to measure how our community and families feel we are doing as a school. Your child's teacher may have already reached out to you to take this survey, but I wanted to include it below as well. If you haven't yet taken the survey, please do so! Once you have, please let your child's teacher know. The classes with the highest levels of participation will earn an ice cream party! You can take that survey here.
