District-Sponsored Clubs & Student Groups Update

We have compiled a list of district-sponsored clubs and student groups that our students requested for Cypress Creek Middle School to have this school year.

Currently, we are in the process of finding staff sponsors for these organizations. Once we receive sponsors for these organizations, as well as completed applications, we will post our list of district-sponsored clubs and student groups on our website. Students will be provided the opportunity to sign-up for one of these organizations once this list is confirmed and posted publicly.

6th Grade Dance!

Tonight's 6th Grade Glow Dance Party was a huge success! Thank you to Denise Nicholas, Abdoney Orthodontics, our parent volunteers, and to the individuals who donated items for making this special event happen for our 6th grade students. It was amazing!

Morning Car Loop

We want to specifically thank our morning car-line families for your flexibility, as we have made adjustments to our morning car drop-off routine. Just to reiterate, please refrain from allowing students to exit your vehicle until the whistle is blown and a thumbs-up signal is given. This is to ensure the safety of all our students as they step out of the car, so we can ensure no surrounding vehicles are moving. We understand it takes time to adapt to these changes, but we appreciate your help in making this happen.

Flu Vaccine Clinic

On Tuesday October 4th Health Heros will be on campus administering Flu Vaccines. If you would like your student to receive a Flu Vaccine, please fill out the consent attached and return it to the clinic or to

Healthy Student

Please fill out the 22-23 healthy student application if you would like your student to be a part of the program. Healthy student is a great way to keep students in school. Healthy student includes management of acute illness or injury and the administration of limited medications, following physician guidelines and protocols (i.e. ibuprofen, Tylenol, Motrin, Robitussin, Tums, and antifungal ointment, Benadryl, hydrocortisone, etc.).

Please fill out the attached form and return it to the clinic or email to if interested. We CAN NOT take any verbal consents for medication administration so not filling out the form means a call home if your child isn't well with a potential need for pick up.

Consent Forms

Please be sure you go on the Pasco Parent Portal and fill out the consent forms. Leaving the consent form blank is a NO for clinic services. If you would like your student to utilize the clinic if they are sick, or get hurt please consent to yes to illness care treatment and RN assessment. If you mark NO or DON'T FILL OUT THE FORMS your child can't be seen in the clinic. Your child will be asked to call you to inform you of the situation. If you do not have internet access at home or a computer, you may come to the school to fill out the consent forms online.

Our annual health screening for 6th grade is October 25th. We screen height and weight, vision, hearing, and scoliosis. If you would like your 6th grader to not be screened, please be sure you indicate that on the consents on the parent portal, there is a screening section on consents. Please do this well in advance to the screening, not the week of.
