Hello, Folks!
I have honestly never seen such joyful looks on parents' faces as I did at morning drop off today! It felt good to be back at school today with so many smiling faces, in spite of the late start. Let's hope for a little break in the snow. Tomorrow, since the roads are still very bad on the side streets (and even in our parking lot), we will start with a 2 hour delay and NO MORNING Extended Care. It will be drop off in the back again tomorrow with 2 lanes. We will go until the regular time and will have afternoon Extended Care available, as usual. We appreciate your patience as we are doing our best to balance the desire to have students back in school, with the safety concerns for students/families and staff! Please drive safely.
Also, since tomorrow is both Spirit Day and Valentine's Day, students will have the option to dress with Valentine colors (red, white, or pink) and jeans or their spirit shirt/sweatshirt with jeans. Since the parking lot is still challenging, it is great to send the kiddos in boots if you have them. If not, you may want to send another pair of socks and/or shoes in case they get wet during the day.
Remember, there is no school on Friday for an Archdiocesan Retreat Day and no school on Monday and Tuesday for President's Break.
Once again, I appreciate everyone's patience and I hope that you are getting information in a timely manner with the texts, emails, and FB postings. Have a wonderful evening and stay warm!

Fri, Feb. 15th - No school for students due to Archdiocesan Retreat Day
Mon, Feb. 18th and Tues, Feb. 19th - No School for President's Day

Sun, Feb. 24th - Last day for current parents to secure spaces for 2019-20 school year by re-registering
Mon, Feb. 25th - Registration opens for all new families

The Spring Fling is coming up on March 16th at 5 pm in the school auditorium! Thank you to Mr. Tomas Ramos for putting everything together on this. Once again, this year, Mr. Ramos is planning to offer this wonderful event free of charge. In order to do that, we need to have people volunteer to bring/donate goodies (and help with set-up and clean-up).
