Edwin Alcala

Big picture

Edwin Alcala

Edwin is our Student of the Month for April at Twin Palms High School. This recognition comes from his outstanding performance in classes during covid 19 this school year. Online learning has had its challenges, but Edwin has stepped up to the challenge and shown great fortitude and commitment. In August, he came to our school and has passed all 12 classes taken this school year and is recovering the credits and classes needed to graduate early. Throughout the whole year, he has had outstanding attendance. He has been punctual to all his zoom classes and has perfect attendance in the 4th quarter! In addition, Edwin comes to zoom classes prepared and is always focused. Mr. Echeverria mentioned his OUTSTANDING attendance and that he has missed very few classes this school year. Mr. Echeverria also said, “Edwin always comes to class with a very positive demeanor and has worked very hard this quarter on his classes. It has been a pleasure having him in my classes.” Other teachers and

staff have seen these outstanding attributes. His maturity and dedication to his goals have led to positive growth and true leadership on the part of Edwin. This continued performance will lead to great success in school and in his chosen career. Keep up the great work!

Cristina Olivares

Cristina Olivares

We are proud to recognize Cristina Olivares as our Student of the Month for April at Twin Palms High School. She came to our school in August and has shined this school year. Even with Covid and adjusting to on-line learning, Cristina shows the fortitude and dedication that sets her apart among her peers. This year she has passed 12 classes already and has A’s in her current classes. Her stellar performance includes earning Honor Roll recognition in the first and third quarters and perfect attendance this 4th quarter. She also comes to school with a positive attitude every day and shines on campus and in her classes. Her Teachers had the following to say about her: Miss. Meave pointed out that. Cristina has been a leader in her classes, completes her work thoroughly, and always has time to help other students. She is impressed with her organization and maturity in class. Cristina has Mr. Blansett for two classes where she has perfect A grades, and Mr. Blansett has seen her bring a pleasant and contagious attitude to class every day. Office Staff agrees, and we look forward to seeing her continued success and maturity. Keep up the great work!
