JANUARY'S MESSAGE SERIES - "Beginning Again" - The New Year can be a way to begin again with God leading our way.

Big picture

2019 Communion Servers Needed!

Communion Servers for 2019 Needed - Please sign up at sign up central if you would like to take this opportunity to serve.

UMW/New Day Circle Meeting

Weather permitting, the UMW-New Day Circle will hold its first meeting of the year on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 11:30 A.M. We will have a program entitled “What’s Up!” so we hope you’re curious enough to come to the meeting, enjoy the program and have lunch with us. We will also spend a little time finalizing our meeting plans for 2019. Our goal is to bring interesting programs and opportunities to the women of Cornerstone. Maybe you’re the one with the best ideas for achieving that goal! We look forward to seeing you on January 17th. Please sign up at Sign Up Central if you plan to attend; a lunch count is helpful. (Your attendance is welcome even if you forget to sign up.) By the way, we always take time for tears, concerns, joy and laughter so bring it all.

Other News...

We need Coffee Servers to set up on Sunday mornings at 8:30 am. Sign-up at "Sign-up Central," or email Greg Evans at if you can help!

Church History Project - there will be an organizational meeting for anyone interested in working on a church history project. If you can help with research, pictures, interviews, writing, editing, etc. please join us on Jan. 12th at 9:00 am. We will be meeting at Panera's in O'Fallon.

A Pharr Meeting has been added to the calendar on Sunday, January 13, at 10:00 am in Fellowship Hall Room A, for those interested in going on the Pharr Texas Mission trip at the end of February.

Please pick up your 2019 offering envelopes on the table in the Lobby (they are alphabetized by last name). In order to receive financial statements you must have an assigned offering envelope. If you don’t have envelopes and would like them, please leave a note for Stacy in the office or email As a reminder, all checks must be written in black or standard dark blue ink or the bank will not accept. Please fill in the amount at the bottom of the envelope and designate funds on the right side of your envelope. Also, please do not use offering envelopes from previous years.

We have a very special family in our congregation that was left out of the recent directory, even though they had their picture taken! So that you all have the opportunity to know the Faber family, Lifetouch has provided an overlay sticker to adhere to the last page of pictures in the directory if you received or purchased one. Please stop by the office and pick up an overlay sticker in the basket.

Inclement Weather Update - In the event of inclement weather, please stay tuned to our website (, Facebook & Twitter pages, or Fox 2 News, KMOV, or KSDK for church closings.

Don’t forget to order your produce from First Fruits Co-op today! A portion of the proceeds will go to the Dewey Wofford Shoe Project! For more information, go to, or pick up an order form in the Lobby.

Do you go out to eat after church on Sundays? Texas Roadhouse in O’Fallon will give 10% of your total food sales back to our church if you present your bulletin to them!
