Using Google Classroom and Google Meet
By attending a Google Meet session participants will learn how to give ongoing support to students by learning how to:
create a Google Classroom
enroll or invite students to the classroom
post an announcement to the stream
create a discussion question
create an assignment
During this workshop participants will also learn how to use Google Meet to deliver live or recorded information to students.
Prior to attending the virtual workshop participants are asked to visit Google Classroom for Teachers and to view the videos Teach a Lesson with Google Meet and How to Use Google Meet with Google Classroom .
After looking over the Google Classroom information, check to make sure that you are able to create a classroom and not just join a classroom.
If you do not see, Create, contact, Debbie Ray, dray@aacps.org
Note: Content in these workshops is exactly the same!

SMART Board and Notebook Basics
August 19, 2019-May 29, 2020
SRN3225120001
In this course attendees will learn SMART hardware and software at their own pace, on their own time, on Blackboard! Attendees will learn the features of the various SMART boards available in AACPS as well as the power of SMART Notebook software and other SMART features and tools including the online SMART Suite. Attendees will work through each of the 10 sessions at their own pace in the Blackboard platform. As they complete each session they will be required to complete a self-assessment in order to unlock the next session. At the end of the course participants will be asked to describe how they will apply the tools that they learned about into their instructional planning and how they can use these tools to increase student engagement in lessons.
This workshop is designed to be self-paced and at minimum will take 6 hours to complete. Register on United Talent (LGS).
