Class Schedule Access and Pickup
Getting Your Schedule
Beginning July 26, parents can log-in to PISD Parent Portal to access and complete all of the necessary forms and permission slips to begin the process of student registration.
2018-2019 Class Schedules will become viewable through parent portal at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1st. In order to access the schedule, all registration information must be updated, and required immunization documentation must be submitted.
(Please note that if there are fines/books outstanding, immunizations that need updating, or an address that needs verification, the online schedule screens will prompt you to visit the campus to take care of the issue.)
Incoming 7th grade parents: Many of our 7th graders are still in need of receiving their DTaP and Meningitis vaccinations, and this must be done before receiving their 7th grade schedules on August 1st. Bring a hard copy to the nurse’s table in the cafeteria on schedule pick-up day, August 1 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Any holds on the student’s schedule will be released and can be printed electronically. There is a new policy that families who have immunization coverage through private health insurance will no longer be able to get immunizations through Collin County Health Department or CareVan. This is further motivation to have your pediatrician check your student’s shot record now to make sure they are current.
Schedule Pick up will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018.
6th grade is from 8-10 a.m. Scott.Pilgrim@pisd.edu
7th grade is from 11-1 p.m. Kari.Nodeland@pisd.edu
8th grade is from 2-4 p.m. Kristina.Tafur@pisd.edu
Contact your grade-level counselor if you notice a problem with your schedule. Counselor e-mail addresses are provided above.
6th Grade Orientation Night
incoming 6th Graders:
On Thursday, August 2, 2018, Armstrong will be hosting a sixth grade orientation for all sixth grade students. The goal of the orientation is to familiarize families and students with Armstrong facilities, procedures, and other important information. Please plan on staying from 5:00 -6:30 p.m. in order to meet the staff, get important information regarding campus guidelines and expectations, meet and join the PTA, and participate in a Scavenger Hunt!
We strive on making sure your students have a very family oriented academic institution to help them as they mature into their teenage years. Our staff is committed to knowing your student so that we can make the best academic decisions regarding his or her future.

When school is out, our children need nutritious meals to continue to learn, grow, and thrive. With the Summer Food Service Program children and teens, ages 18 and younger, can continue to eat healthy throughout the summer at no cost, just by showing up at a participating location.
In partnership with the Texas Department of Agriculture, Plano ISD Food and Nutritional Services will be providing meals to the public at Meadows Elementary School from June 4, 2018 to July 27, 2018. Serving times will be from 11:30am – 1:30pm, Monday thru Friday.
No form of identification is needed for a child to receive a meal.
Adults over the age of 18 can purchase a meal for $3.75.
AMS Athletic Department Update
The athletic department utilizes a system called Rank One which allows you to complete required paperwork forms electronically online. All forms are available on Rank One. Two forms will need to be turned into the coaches. Those two forms are the physical examination form and the medical history form. All other forms can be completed online. After July 15, please register online at: https://planoisd.rankonesport.com.
