Belvidere Elementary
Our Vision: Our shared vision focuses around the belief that all children can learn. Through mutual respect within the school community, our children will grow and meet the academic expectations to reach their fullest potential. We will use every available resource to ensure that all students learn. We will provide a positive atmosphere where staff, students, and parents are enthusiastic about the learning process to develop high student acheivement.

Device Check Out
Remember, your student must be FULLY ENROLLED in order to receive a device. This includes updated residency checks and immunization records. If you are not sure you are fully enrolled, you can call Lisa Crosby at 816-316-5300.
Students in grades K-3 will receive iPads.
Students in grades 4-5 will receive MacBooks

Device Insurance
The district is offering device insurance you can purchase between now and October 10th. This will cover damages to the device should they happen.

2020 Enrollment

When you enroll, you will need to choose from two options:
A. Distance Learning - your student will learn online for the entire semester regardless of other district changes.
B. Blended Learning - your student will learn online to begin the semester, but will have the opportunity to come back into the classroom when the district deems it safe to do so.

2020-2021 Grandview Supply lists
We recommend you purchase supplies for your students even though we are currently learning virtually. Students will need supplies at home to complete their work. They can bring them into school when we are back in the building.

All teachers will work with parents and students to navigate canvas and the virtual school day.
Partnerships between Parents and Teachers are always an important part of a student's success! Virtual learning is no different. Please reach out any time you have questions or concerns. We will assist you in any way we can.
BIST Virtual Parenting Series
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As part of ongoing support for families, your child’s school is offering a series of classes for parents and guardians through a partnership with the Behavior Intervention Support Team (BIST). These training sessions are designed to help you manage your child’s virtual learning, provide ways you can support your child’s developing behavior skills, and increase consistency between home and school.

How to Register for Free Training
All sessions will be provided virtually at no cost, but registration is required,and space is limited. Please enroll on or before Friday, August 28, using the form below.
Once enrolled, you will receive an email containing the Zoom link by 3:00 PM on Monday, August 31. If you do not receive the email, please contact our office at bist@cornerstonesofcare.org for assistance.

Even in a virtual environment, the support of our Parents and PTA are so important. The $7 membership fee goes towards many things students need during the school year, including getting materials into students hands during virtual learning.
