ADMINISTRATOR SMOOTS MESSAGE
I am glad you're here! My hope is that you find this monthly newsletter to be full of information and resources to help you in your day-to-day journey throughout the school year. I will provide updates and highlights from the programs, initiatives, and celebrations going on throughout the year.
A lot of information is included in our monthly VLA Archives Newsletter, and this is done so that you can come back to one location to find shared information. Please be sure to read through all of the information so that we are all informed. I am fortunate to work in a district that believes in cultivating, inspiring, and empowering our most precious gifts-our students.

MEET MRS. RANI IMANDI
I am from India,
Living in the US for 23 yrs.
I have Bachelors's degree in Arts, Associate's degree in Networking and Information Systems.
Working in the Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools as a full-time Teacher Assistant, Long term and short-term sub for the past 14 yrs.
I teach Indian cooking classes at the Carrboro Century Center. Love to do Arts and Crafts a lot like painting, making greeting cards, ribbon art, and many more. I also have my website and youtube channel.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- We still have students not working independently on their NCVPS courses. Please take advantage of the Virtual Buddy and Peer-Tutoring opportunities offered through NCVPS. Parent resources are available here.
- It is imperative that students also log in to their VLA classes daily engaged and ready to work. Students are expected to complete homework assignments for each of their classes.
- Although we cannot mandate students to turn on their cameras we strongly encouraged each of them to do so. Moving forward the revised contract will speak to cameras and student participation.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING DROP/ADD & SCHEDULING

- For available VLA courses click here
- NCVPS elective courses will only be available to students who are passing their current NCVPS courses, absolutely, no exceptions!!
- Parents, teachers, and staff, please make sure you complete the asynchronous survey for the 2nd-semester bell schedule ASAP!
- We are still working on getting the cross-enrolled students' schedules into Power Schools please be patient with us!
