KAES annual constituency meeting
All KAES parents are invited to attend our annual constituency meeting. This coming Wednesday, May 12 at 7:00 pm in the KAES gymnasium we will have our 2020 - 2021 school year constituency meeting. I invite you and hope you will be able to attend. This is the one time of the year that all our stakeholders have the opportunity to come together to hear about the state of our school, the current plans and future.
Retirement Celebration for Mrs. Blackburn
If you have not heard Ms. Blackburn, our 5th grade homeroom teacher/middle school science teacher, will be retiring this year after teaching at KAES for 20 years. To celebrate Ms. Blackburn’s two decades of service to KAES, we are planning a special event. In just about two weeks on Wednesday, May 19 at 8:30 am (PLEASE NOTE DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM MAY 12 TO MAY 19), we invite you to join us in this celebration recognizing Ms. Blackburn. This event will be held in the gymnasium. Additional information has been emailed.
KAES Bump Up Day, Friday May 14
2021-2022 KAES Registration is Now Open
Meet Mrs. Bonnie Knoll
Mrs. Knoll will be our new 5th grade and middle school Science teacher at KAES. She will be our new teacher but she is not new to KAES. Mrs. Knoll has taught middle school at KAES in the past and is returning from starting her family. As you get to know Mrs. Knoll you will quickly see her excitement about learning. We are super excited to have Mrs. Knoll a part of KAES again.
KAES Field Day
Yesterday was our annual field day event and it was a huge success. I want to thank Mr. Bradley for planning this awesome event. Additional thanks is deserved to all the parents who took time to come and help with events. Take a look at the pictures and be sure to ask your children about their favorite activity.
School Calendar for Next Year
The KAES school calendar is out. You can click on this link to go directly to it. “Calendar link” I know that many of you are wanting to make plans. I hope you will find it helpful. Remember that things do change and the best calendar to look at is the digital one on our website.
We have listed the lunch menu for the entire month of May. There is a separate lunch order link available for each week of the month. All weekly links are available on the menu at kaes4kids.com and each individual week will be shared in the newsletter. It is our hope that this will provide an easier way for you to keep track of lunches purchased.
You can edit your order at any time. If you need to make a change to your order, please do it through the confirmation email you receive from your order. This will help us not to double order for your child.
