News from the Principal's Desk
We had a very busy October at Gibraltar Elementary School! Here are some of the October highlights and events to look forward to in November.
October Highlights
- Students in grades K-6 watched Third Coast Percusionn's presentation of Paddle to the Sea presented by FOG.
- 4th Grade participated in an Ephraim Historical Presentation.
- Students have been busy celebrating the end of the first Reader's and Writer's Workshop Unit by having celebrations in grades K-6.
- We held our Parent-Teacher Conferences on October 17 and 18.
- 6th Grade attended a Leadership experience at Camp Manito-Wish in Boulder Junction, WI.

FOOD DRIVE
Gibraltar Elementary will sponsor a food drive to help stock our local food pantries for the upcoming Holidays. Students will be collecting various items to help the Door of Life Food Pantry and the Feed/Clothe My People in Sturgeon Bay. Please see the list below for items to donate.

Gibraltar Elementary Celebrates Responsibility!
Gibraltar Elementary gathered together on Thursday, October 31 for their October Assembly and recognized students who demonstrated RESPONSIBILITY over the month of October. Our Honor Choir under the direction of Lori Free also performed! For November, our character trait is CITIZENSHIP.

Brrrrr! It is getting COLD outside!
It is getting cold outside! If your child is in need of a new winter coat, we have a few extras in the school. Please stop by the elementary office or talk to Brooke Peterson if you need a new coat. All information and conversations remain confidential.
Please remember to send your child in appropriate hats, mittens, and coats!
